New Creation Wednesdays

Very excited for this new creation for this upcoming Fall. Where red pieces are an absolute must, this earring can be paired with endless options. I used large red Swarovski pendant drops to help give it the glam appeal along with my favorite gold filled components to provide you with long lasting wear. What do you think?

Affordable Looks for the Everyday Fashionista

Fine, I will admit it. I read an endless number of magazines. This is what I signed up for and what I enjoy. One thing that frustrates me magazine after another, are the pieces featured. I know Valentino makes unique and mind bobbling cuts, endless Louboutin shoe features and their red soles, but can an everyday fashion lover really afford that? For the majority, the answer is no. This thread will help give you ideas of looks you can actually find in a store near you! Now who's excited? I know I am. This thread is inspired by my motto which for those who know me, have heard it many times before. Do not let the brand define your style. In contrary, YOU should define the brand. Here's my first feature and make sure to check back every Thursday for more.

New Creation Wednesdays

In case you have not read or seen the trend report for Fall/Winter 2013, let me sum it up for you...CHUNK. Lots of chunk, play on chains, statement earrings, anything white and black and of course the color of the year, emerald, are all main players in this upcoming fashion season. One of my favorite pieces for Fall 2013 is a combination of gunmetal and silver chains with an asymmetrical twist, which I absolutely adore. Be sure to get noticed once you pair it up with your favorite blouse or dress.

New Creation Wednesdays

As new creation Wednesdays continue, so do the glamorous and statement making pieces. I made this earring to match a dress I am wearing for an event I have tomorrow. Love this Swarovski bronze shade crystal as it reflects a bit of blue for the perfect flare. I combined it with heavily plated gold ring and 14kt gold filled earwire. Let me know what you think!

New Creation Wednesdays

So I found some amazing stones when I shopped in NYC last week to bring you more unique pieces. This new piece is 100% chalcedony stones set in vermeil (gold plated sterling silver setting) that is originally from India. What do you think?

Do you have what it takes to layer it up?

Although some magazines and trend reports say the thinner the better in jewelry featuring very thin cross necklaces and skinny bracelets, they follow it up by saying, "layer it up".  Whether you choose to wear a single chunky piece or a bunch of thin ones to reflect the same look, you can't go wrong. Here are some of my pieces that are layer perfect.

Wear alone or with a plain gold chain (short or long) to add some chunk

Combine with silver or dark grey/gunmetal chains.  You might just be seeing this color a lot in Fall 2013. Just saying :o)

Combine any of these with your favorite watch, bangle or chain bracelet!
